We’re seeking experienced Senior Residential Support Workers in Colchester to help deliver consistent, trauma-informed care for children and young people who have experienced adverse childhoods. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support day-to-day residential care as a Senior Residential Support Worker in Colchester
  • Manage complex and challenging behaviours in line with care plans
  • Provide consistent, trauma-informed support to vulnerable children and young people
  • Build meaningful relationships and understand individual needs
  • Support team development and help create safe, positive environments
  • Work collaboratively with senior leaders to maintain high standards of care
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care (essential)
  • Supervisory experience (essential)
  • Strong leadership, resilience, empathy, and honesty
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
  • Driving licence (preferred) and/or NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
