I am recruiting a CARING and PASSIONATE Senior Support Worker to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. The service, which is located in Pembroke Dock, supports adults aged between 18 – 65.
The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.
- Salary: £35,420 – £36,420
- Hours: Full Time 39 hours a week
- Contract: Permanent
- Shifts: Various shifts and on call
- Location: Pembroke Dock

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for the following:
- Support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
- Planning rotas, management of staff teams,
- Ensuring compliance within the service.
- Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
- Ensuring the safety of the service users.
- Following care plans for each individual.
- Taking service users out into the community.
- Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
- Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements for a Senior Support Worker:
- NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 5
- Senior Support Worker Experience
- Must be resilient.
- Drivers ESSENTIAL due to the nature of the role
- Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
