Key Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant based in Birkenhead, your daily duties will include:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum for students aged 3-19.
  • Assisting individual students and small groups to enhance their learning experience.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Contributing to the organisation of enrichment activities and supporting students’ personal development.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

  • Relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting.
  • Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting student progress.
