The mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Workers to join our team in making a meaningful impact on the lives of the children in care.

Salary: Up to £35,000

Location: Illminster

Role: Senior Support Worker

Hours: 2 on four off rota

Responsibilities:

  • You will play a crucial role in working alongside managers to oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring that both day and night shifts run smoothly.
  • You will provide direct support to the children, act as a mentor and supervisor to staff and take the lead in maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.

Senior Support Worker Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or an equivalent qualification (e.g., a degree in Health and Social Care) or currently working towards it.
  • Driving Licence: A full, clean driving licence is essential—candidates without one will not be considered.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a residential setting is required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capability to mentor and support others.
