Vetro Education is seeking to recruit passionate and dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers to work in secondary schools in the Merthyr Tydfil and surrounding areas. The school supports learners in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The role itself is on an ad hoc basis, teaching Year 7, 8 and 9, as well as GCSE.
Pay: £173.00 per day minimum
Location: Merthyr Tydfil
Hours: Full time, Part time, Long Term - Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm

The role: What you will be doing as a Supply Teacher
- Lead a classroom of learners - Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Preparing the classroom for lessons and planning schemes of work where required
- Deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities
- Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies.
The candidate: What you will need to be successful as a Supply Teacher
- At least 1 year teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status or an overseas equivalent
- Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
