Vetro Recruitment is seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN, RGN or RNLD) with restraint experience for a low-secure Mental Health Facility in Pontypridd. This role supports residents who require specialist nursing for neurological conditions, with assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation delivered in a person-centred environment.

This is a zero-hours contract, offering flexible full-time or part-time hours. Pontypridd shifts available include days, nights, and weekends, with a block 6-month booking option.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) in Pontypridd, you will:

  • Administer medication in line with clinical and safeguarding standards
  • Review and plan care for patients, ensuring needs are met consistently
  • Implement care and treatment plans for residents with neurological conditions
  • Liaise with other professionals to deliver care, including communication with families where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

To succeed as an RMN in Pontypridd, you will need:

  • A valid NMC pin and relevant experience as an RMN (or RGN/RNLD with strong nursing background)
  • Experience in a low-security unit, learning disabilities settings, or Nursing Home environments (previous experience across mental health, learning disabilities, or general nursing is beneficial)
  • Willingness to complete restraint training (advantage if already covered)
  • A responsible, compassionate approach and a professional attitude at all times
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, alongside the Registered Manager and care professionals
