We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a Children's Home specializing in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Ilford. This is a full‑time, permanent position ideal for a professional committed to delivering high‑quality care and achieving excellent outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, compliance with regulations, and a passion for nurturing a skilled and motivated team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, Ofsted regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead and develop a highly skilled staff team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage resources effectively to optimise service delivery and meet financial targets.
  • Promote safeguarding and child protection practices, ensuring a safe environment for young people.
  • Maintain excellent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within Children’s Homes in the last 5 years, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Current or previous registration with Ofsted as a Registered Manager (preferred).
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and Ofsted regulations.
  • Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care, Leadership, or Management (preferred).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
