We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Disability Support Workers to join a leading specialist provider in the Outskirts of Tonyrefail. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and complex needs.
As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital part in helping residents progress through personalised care pathways, promoting independence, and supporting their integration into the community.
Key Responsibilities- Providing therapeutic care and support to adults (18+) with autistic spectrum conditions and complex needs
- Observing, monitoring, and accurately recording residents’ conditions and progress
- Treating each individual with dignity, compassion, and honesty
- Assisting residents through their care pathway to maximise independence
- Supporting residents in community activities, including hobbies and outings (driver’s licence and access to own vehicle required)
- Minimum 6 months of experience working within a social care setting
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient attitude
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Essential: Full UK Driver’s Licence and access to own vehicle
