What Will You Be Doing?
As a Maths Supply Teacher, you'll play an important role in maintaining high-quality teaching and supporting student progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of varying abilities.
- Planning and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs and encourage student participation.
- Supporting student progress through assessment, feedback and targeted learning activities.
- Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
- Working alongside the Mathematics Department to ensure continuity of learning and maintain high teaching standards.
- Supporting the wider school community through effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.
What Are We Looking For?
We're looking for a passionate and adaptable teacher who is confident in the classroom and committed to helping students succeed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, including an Enhanced DBS Check.
Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
