Vetro Education are seeking to recruit a variety of dedicated Secondary School Newly Qualified Teachers to work in a variety of roles in Secondary schools across RCT Local Education Authority. All subject specialisms welcome! Newly Qualified Teachers who can work both full and part-time will be considered for the roles and Vetro Education’s designated NQT mentor will assist you throughout your NQT year and induction process.
Overview:
- Pay: £173 - £180 per day
- Location: Aberdare
- Hours: Part-time and Full-time roles available, Long Term - Monday to Friday 830am - 330pm

The role: What you’ll be doing as a Secondary School Newly Qualified Teacher
- Lead a classroom of learners - Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Preparing the classroom for lessons and planning schemes of work where required
- Deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Engage learners within the classroom, following the school’s behaviour management policies
The candidate: What you’ll need to be successful as a Secondary School Newly Qualified Teacher
- At least 1 year of teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
- Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
