Location: Pontyclun

Salary: £14.24 per hour (including holiday pay)

Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments
  • Promote independence and encourage the development of life skills
  • Build positive relationships with service users, their families, and team members
  • Participate in engaging activities including walks, games, music sessions, arts & crafts, and more
  • Support emotional wellbeing and help individuals achieve their personal goals
  • Ensure the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every individual in your care
  • Observe, monitor, and record residents’ conditions accurately

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to pay for one
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Be able to work above 24 hours per week
  • A driver’s licence is essential for supporting residents in the community, such as attending activities or hobbies
