Following an extremely busy start to the academic year working with SEND schools across South Wales, Vetro Education are looking for a large number of specialist Teaching Assistants in the Rhondda Cynon Taf LEA. An area of particular interest for Vetro Education is increased work within ASD provisions. Over the past four weeks, Vetro Education have placed a number of Teaching Assistants in long‑term, temporary‑to‑permanent and part‑time positions. As a result, Vetro Education are extremely keen to speak to Teachers and Teaching Assistants experienced in working with pupils on the autistic spectrum, who would be interested in supporting schools on a long‑term, short‑term or Ad Hoc basis. Vetro Education are working with SEND schools on a weekly basis and these schools regularly require staff booked on block/long‑term bookings as well as more casual schedules (flexible hours are available).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 months experience of working with children in an SEND environment – specifically ASD.
- Fully enhanced DBS (on the Update service) – ability to obtain a new one.
- References covering the last three years (no gaps).
- EWC registration (School support worker).
- Right to work in the UK.
