Our client, a leading specialist provider in children's residential care, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Blackpool. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and support services that help children and young people with EBD, challenging behaviours, Autism, and learning disabilities. As the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, effectiveness, and development of the homes, making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Responsibilities

  • Offer strategic support and care to Registered Managers
  • Report to the Service Director and collaborate with the other Operations Manager
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams (MDT)
  • Ensure all homes are safe and compliant in supporting children and young people
  • Line manage Registered Managers
  • Assist with recruitment, referrals, and safeguarding issues
  • Develop and improve services, including opening new homes
  • Manage home budgets and resources

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management
  • Senior management experience or a proven track record as a Registered Manager
  • Driving Licence
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory compliance in children’s services
