An established and forward-thinking organisation is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed children’s residential home in Hellesdon, Norwich. As the Registered Manager, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop towards a positive future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day‑to‑day running of the children’s residential home in Hellesdon, Norwich.
  • Provide strong, values-driven leadership to your staff team.
  • Ensure the home complies with the Children’s Home Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
  • Create a safe, caring, and inspiring environment for children.
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager to drive continuous improvement and high standards.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, professionals, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting.
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Home (England) Regs 2015, and Quality Standards.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or current study towards it.
  • Confident, approachable, and inspirational leadership skills.
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
  • UK driving licence and own vehicle are desirable.
