Key Responsibilities
- Provide general classroom support to facilitate effective learning for students with special educational needs
- Work closely with the Class Teacher to develop and implement tailored support strategies
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence
- Assist with the monitoring and assessment of student progress
- Support students with behavioural and learning challenges to ensure their success
- Prepare resources and assist in maintaining a safe and welcoming classroom atmosphere
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, ideally supporting SEN students
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Passionate about fostering inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable)
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
