Salary: £92.59 per day (DOE)
Responsibilities
- Support and supervise learners with ASD, PDA, PMLD, Global Delay Disorder, or challenging behaviour
- Assist learners at the start and end of the school day
- Help staff prepare classrooms for lessons and activities
- Work with learners in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support their individual needs
- Support the delivery of lessons alongside the class teacher
- Assist learners during break times and lunchtime
- Engage learners with classroom and out-of-classroom activities
- Follow the school's behaviour management policies
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 months experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or childcare settings; SEN experience is beneficial
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC); support available for registration
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
