We are seeking dedicated Secondary School Newly Qualified Teachers to work across a variety of secondary schools within the Merthyr Tydfil region. All subject specialisms are welcome, including core academic areas and special educational needs. These roles offer flexibility for both full-time and part-time working arrangements, with support provided throughout your NQT year and induction process by an approved mentor from a recognised Welsh Government Framework Supplier.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading classroom activities for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 learners.
- Preparing and delivering lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Following the school's behaviour management policies.
- Planning schemes of work where needed.

Candidate Requirements

- A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
