Adult Learning Disability Support Worker
Location: Marshfield, Cardiff, South Wales (CF area)
£??????14.24 per hour including holiday pay
Various shift patterns available: short days, long days, waking nights, and sleep-ins.

Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred therapeutic care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments.
- Observe, monitor, and document resident conditions and progress, ensuring high standards of dignity, respect, and honesty.
- Assist residents through their care pathways, promoting independence and social inclusion.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual needs.
- Support residents during daily activities, activities, and personal care, respecting their preferences and autonomy.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a social care setting.
- Empathy, resilience, and a genuine desire to improve outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
- Ability to obtain or hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to pay for practical training at a subsided cost (e.g., PBM, Manual Handling, Buccal) if not already completed.
- Ability to complete online training modules (free of charge)
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 3 or 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualifications.
- UK full manual driving license
- Additional relevant certifications or specialised training.
