We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. Key Responsibilities
- Building trusting, nurturing relationships with families to promote their independence and wellbeing.
- Working collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals to support care plans and safeguarding policies.
- Assisting with the upkeep of the residential environment, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining safety standards.
- Accurately documenting case information and ensuring records are kept up to date.
- Promoting a safe environment at all times, adhering to safeguarding procedures and policies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve this within the required timeframe.
- Relevant experience working with families or children in a similar setting.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as travel across the locality is essential.
