Vetro are seeking an enthusiastic, trauma-aware, and well-organised Teaching Assistant to join a school in Cheshire. This full-time role within a Reception Classroom offers an exciting opportunity to support early years education and make a positive impact on young children's development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting groups and individual children within the Reception Classroom to promote inclusive learning.
- Assisting with curriculum development through the environment and using initiative to enhance provision.
- Liaising closely with teachers and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's needs.
- Supporting children with additional needs, including those requiring a trauma-informed approach, and contributing to a safe and nurturing environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience working with children, preferably in an early years setting.
- A good understanding of trauma-informed approaches and patience when working with children and adults.
- Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and relevant safeguarding training.
