We are seeking a dedicated Children's Registered Manager to lead and oversee a residential care home for children in Loughborough. This role involves managing an OFSTED-registered children's home in partnership with the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure safe and compliant operation and positive outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the RI to safely manage a children's residential care home in Rainhill
  • Hold OFSTED registration for the children's home
  • Manage the residential service, providing expert support to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
  • Recruit, manage, and develop staff teams, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers, in collaboration with the HR team
  • Ensure the service meets OFSTED standards and complies with all relevant policies and procedures
  • Manage quality assurance processes and oversee the service's continuous improvement
  • Oversee the budget and financial management of the residential home
  • Work within a national organisation that offers development and career progression opportunities
  • Maintain a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, with on-call duties as required

Requirements

  • Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management
  • Experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager within a children's residential setting
