Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments.
- Promote independence and encourage the development of life skills.
- Build positive relationships with service users, their families, and team members.
- Participate in engaging activities including walks, games, music sessions, arts & crafts, and more.
- Support emotional wellbeing and help individuals achieve their personal goals.
- Ensure the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every individual in your care.
- Observe, monitor, and record the condition of service users.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting.
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to pay for one.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work above 24 hours per week.
- A driver’s licence is essential for supporting residents in the community, such as attending activities or hobbies.
