Job Title: Responsible Individual – Children’s Care

Location: Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, South Wales

Salary: £500 per day

Employment Type: 2 days per week

Our client, a leading provider of children’s care services based in Llanelli, is seeking an experienced Responsible Individual to oversee the development and operation of top-spec children’s homes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality care standards and supporting the organisation’s goal to become the area’s first-choice provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing staff across multiple children’s homes to deliver exceptional care.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding standards.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to grow the business, with plans to open four new homes within the next year.
  • Maintaining a focus on quality assurance to secure ongoing local authority contracts and reputation.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent qualification in children’s care.
  • Proven experience managing children’s homes or similar settings.
  • Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and Full UK Driving Licence.
