Are you passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Support Worker to join a caring team in Bristol. This role offers a dynamic environment where no two days are alike, providing both indoor and outdoor activities that foster independence, confidence, and personal growth for residents.

In this Support Worker position in Llangadog, Carmarthenshire, you will be key in supporting residents in their daily routines, encouraging resilience, and developing their life skills. Your role will involve engaging residents in social activities such as local outings to discos, pub visits, film nights, and games, as well as outdoor farm-related tasks. You will work closely with the team to create a safe, supportive, and enriching environment tailored to individual needs.

Key Duties:

  • Support residents in their daily lives, promoting independence and confidence
  • Facilitate participation in social, recreational, and skill-building activities around Bristol
  • Assist with outdoor and farm-related tasks as required
  • Engage in activities that enhance personal growth and resilience
  • Support individuals in attending places of worship and other community outings
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and positive environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Genuine passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities
  • Proactive, positive, and adaptable attitude
  • Flexibility to support a variety of activities indoors and outdoors
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to take residents out in the service vehicle
  • Experience in care or support work is preferred but not essential; a willingness xgikmsk to learn is equally valued
  • Ability to work as part of a team and foster respectful relationships
