Job Title: Teaching Assistant – SEND Support & After-School Provision

Location: Liverpool, Merseyside

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming school in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant based in Liverpool your daily duties will include:

  • Providing high-quality support for children with SEND to promote their independence and confidence.
  • Assisting in the delivery of personalised learning programmes tailored to individual needs.
  • Supporting children during classroom activities and after-school club sessions, fostering positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Building trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children with SEND and additional needs.
  • Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • A commitment to promoting independence and inclusive practice.
  • Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK (full compliance with DBS checks).
