Key Responsibilities- Support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours
- Provide OFSTED-standard support within a residential care setting
- Build trusting, positive relationships with young people
- Support independence skills such as cooking, budgeting, and personal care
- Promote well-being and emotional resilience through daily routines and structured activities
- Safeguard young people in line with OFSTED guidelines
- Encourage community involvement and personal development
- Collaborate effectively within a team to ensure consistency and stability
- Complete recordings, logs, and contribute to support plans
- Passion for supporting children and young people
- Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a care setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, resilience, and adaptability
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep‑ins
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive (desirable)
- 3‑week rotating schedule:
- Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
- Week 2: Tuesday, Friday, Sunday
- Week 3: Thursday
- 24‑hour shifts including evenings, nights, and handovers
