We are seeking experienced and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join schools across Liverpool. The Learning Support Assistant – Social and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) role offers an exciting opportunity to support secondary-aged learners with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. The Learning Support Assistant – Social and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties position provides a rewarding environment where you can develop your skills and support learners in both classroom and outdoor settings.
Key Responsibilities- Support and supervise learners with SEMH, SEBD, EBD, or challenging behaviour
- Assist in outdoor education sessions, promoting outdoor learning experiences
- Support learners at the start and end of the school day
- Help staff prepare classrooms for lessons and activities
- Work with learners in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to meet their individual needs
- Support the delivery of lessons alongside the class teacher
- Assist learners during break times, including lunch support
- Engage learners in both classroom and outdoor activities
- Follow the school's behaviour management policies to promote a positive learning environment
- Minimum of 3 months experience working with learners with SEBD, SEMH, EBD, or challenging behaviour
- References covering the last two years (with no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
