Job Description
Vetro are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a team at a well-regarded primary school in Liverpool. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality education and support to pupils, helping them flourish academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting teachers in delivering the national curriculum across the primary phase.
- Assisting in the planning, resource management, and assessment of pupils’ progress.
- Supervising classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Providing targeted support for pupils with SEND, EAL, or those who are underachieving, encouraging independence and inclusion.
- Contributing to the development of school policies and supporting the wider school community.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Demonstrable levels of numeracy and literacy equivalent to GCSE (A-C) or NVQ Level 3.
- Recent training in relevant learning strategies, such as English Friendly.
- Experience working with children in a primary setting.
- Mandatory compliance with safeguarding policies, including an Enhanced DBS Check.
- A positive, approachable manner with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
