Job Description

Vetro are seeking a dedicated Support Staff member to join a schoolin Liverpool. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with additional learning needs, helping them access learning, develop independence, and reach their full potential within a vibrant primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils in lessons and implementing planned learning activities under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups to promote learning and inclusion.
  • Assisting with monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress.
  • Supporting pupils' personal care, welfare, and health needs where required.
  • Helping to prepare and organise learning resources and classroom environments.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies to meet pupils' needs.
  • Promoting positive behaviour, independence, and social development.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting children with additional learning needs in a primary school environment.
  • Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and a full UK driving licence (if applicable).
