Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives? An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading specialist provider as a Senior Children’s Support Worker in a modern, well-established residential children’s home in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage young people to participate in activities and develop responsibility suitable to their age.
  • Maintain a warm, friendly, and homely environment within the home.
  • Support children and young people with challenging behaviours safely and sympathetically.
  • Promote independence and well-being while supporting their individual needs.
  • Ensure the safety and protection of young people at all times.
  • Keep up-to-date with care plans, risk assessments, reward systems, and communication preferences.
  • Build positive relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals such as psychologists.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience as a Children’s Support Worker or working with young people (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience in healthcare or social care settings (desirable but not essential).
  • A full UK driving licence, as transportation of young people may be required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with shift patterns including sleep-ins (16–24 hours shifts, on a 1‑2 or 2‑4 basis).
  • Be over the age of 21 and able to commute to Newton Abbot.
