We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional/Registered Manager to lead fostering services for a leading specialist provider. The successful candidate will oversee regional operations, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and delivering high-quality fostering care. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee fostering services in the region, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and national standards.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise staff, including recruitment, training, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities for placement negotiations.
- Ensure quality standards are met and maintained across all service areas.
- Plan and prioritize workloads effectively to meet organisational goals.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and staff development.
Requirements
- Able to satisfy Ofsted as a Registered Manager (Fostering Services Regulations 2011).
- At least two years of recent experience managing fostering services within the last five years.
- Proven staff management and leadership skills, including recruitment and supervision.
- Knowledge of Ofsted, National Minimum Standards for Fostering Services, and Fostering Services Regulations.
- Experience negotiating and making placements with Local Authorities.
- Willingness to undertake NVQ Level 5 in Leadership.
- Strong planning and workload management skills.
