Vetro are seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor (SEND) to join a team in Cheshire. This full-time, temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a dynamic school environment. As a Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in providing personalised support to help our pupils overcome barriers and thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils both individually and in small groups to overcome learning barriers, deliver focused interventions, and promote positive behaviour.
- Collaborating with class teachers and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver effective teaching, learning, and behaviour support across all areas of school life.
- Monitoring and tracking pupil progress, providing regular feedback to inform ongoing support strategies.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that encourages pupil engagement and development.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Relevant SEND experience, as detailed in the person specification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
