Are you an experienced and compassionate leader in children’s care services with a passion for making a meaningful difference? We are seeking a dedicated Dual-Registered Children’s Services Manager to oversee two specialized solo placements in Ipswich. This is a unique opportunity to lead high‑intensity, bespoke care environments designed specifically for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day‑to‑day operations of two solo placements, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding.
  • Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each young person’s needs.
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and statutory requirements across both settings.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a dedicated staff team to deliver outstanding, consistent care.
  • Create and maintain a positive, therapeutic environment focused on growth and recovery for young people.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential care setting.
  • Previous experience working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
  • Strong leadership skills with a child‑centred, outcomes‑focused approach.
  • Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Quality Standards, and inspection processes.
  • Superior communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
