Vetro Recruitment is seeking dedicated and compassionate Adult Learning Disability Support Workers in Gower, Swansea, to join a specialist setting that supports individuals with Autism and complex needs, alongside mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.
This role offers flexibility with a variety of shift patterns, including days, nights, sleeps, and short or long shifts. Temporary work is available, with the opportunity for a pathway to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapeutic care and support to residents, including individuals with Autism and complex needs
- Observe, monitor, and record residents’ conditions accurately
- Support individuals through their care pathway to promote independence
- Treat each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty
- Work collaboratively with a multi-professional team to deliver personalised care
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a social care setting
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pay for practical training (PBM, Manual Handling, Buccal) if not already completed
- Willingness to complete online training (at no cost)
