Senior Therapeutic Care Worker required for a residential therapeutic setting in Corse, Gloucestershire. This is an in-person role supporting young people who have experienced trauma and present with emotional and behavioural needs, within a nurturing, structured home environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing holistic, therapeutic care that promotes emotional development, positive self-esteem, and healthy relationships in line with the home’s therapeutic ethos.
  • Supporting daily living routines, including household tasks, appointments, education support, and planned activities at home and in school settings.
  • Acting as a key worker for individual young people—attending reviews, writing reports, and monitoring progress.
  • Mentoring and guiding colleagues, supporting positive care practice and contributing to a consistent team approach.
  • Working in partnership with families, social workers, and external agencies while maintaining accurate records and upholding safeguarding and regulatory standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (CYP) / Residential Childcare (essential).
  • Experience supporting young people in a residential children’s setting.
  • Experience working with trauma, and an understanding of Autism/ADHD.
  • Experience in a supervisory or team-leading capacity.
  • Full UK manual driving licence (essential) and Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
