Salary: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Our client, a leading specialist provider, is seeking dedicated Children's Residential Support Workers to join their team in Exeter. This role offers flexible hours, allowing you to choose shifts that suit your lifestyle, including days, nights, and sleep‑in shifts. You will work alongside experienced managers and support staff to provide exceptional care and support to children in a warm, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children and young people in their daily activities and interests
  • Promote independence and overall wellbeing of young residents
  • Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with the children, including activities such as climbing, baking, or weekend breaks in holiday parks
  • Provide emotional and practical support to young people
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and safety guidelines
  • Support children in managing challenging behaviour and minimise incidents
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of children at all times
Requirements
  • Genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • At least 6 months’ experience working with children or in a similar social care setting
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
