We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Specialist Teacher to join a leading specialist provider supporting learners with SEMH, SEBD, EBD, and challenging behaviour in Ebbw Vale. The role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact within a Pupil Referral Service, working with children and young people across primary, secondary, and SEN settings. The Behaviour Specialist Teacher will support learners and staff, deliver engaging lessons, and manage behaviour effectively in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and supervise learners with SEMH, SEBD, EBD, or challenging behaviour
- Assist learners at the start and end of the school day
- Support staff in preparing classrooms for lessons
- Deliver a variety of subjects across primary and secondary stages
- Engage learners through classroom and out‑of‑class activities
- Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of teaching experience, preferably within a pupil referral setting
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (support available)
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Right to work in the UK
