Vetro Education is working with a fantastic secondary school in the Rhondda to recruit several Cover Supervisors for ongoing ad hoc and long term work. This exciting opportunity will give successful candidates access to learn a new set of skills and the opportunity to start a career in a highly rewarding industry. This opportunity will be perfect for individuals who have experience working with children, graduates, support workers or anyone looking for an opportunity to get into the education sector.
Location: Rhondda
Pay: 105 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8.30 - 3.30
The successful applicant will work in secondary schools across Rhondda, supervising Years 7, 8, and 9 pupils as well as GCSE classes. The work you do will make a real difference to these children's lives as you will be instrumental in their well-being and education.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A keen interest in working with children
- Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children and/or in the care sector
- Open to training and development
- Proactive work ethic
- A good understanding of special educational needs
- The ability to provide a range of support to pupils
- A patient and understanding attitude
- The ability to work as part of a team
