About the Role

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional care and support to young residents. Your leadership and compassion will help build a safe, engaging space where young people can recover, grow, and regain independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build Trust & Relationships: Develop warm, nurturing relationships that promote wellbeing, independence, and individual strengths.
  • Leadership & Supervision: Support and lead Residential Support Workers in their daily duties and shift management.
  • Holistic Care Coordination: Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external professionals to deliver comprehensive care plans.
  • Home Management: Contribute to the smooth running of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
  • Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensure all safeguarding policies are followed, and accurately document all relevant information.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or a relevant equivalent; commitment to complete this if not already qualified.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of supervisory or shift leading experience in a residential care setting with children or young people.
  • Safeguarding: Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, and to travel across various services in Hinckley, Braunstone, Mountsorrel, Market Harborough, and Syston.
