Key Responsibilities
- Act as Senior on Shift, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children at all times
- Lead and support Residential Support Workers, including mentoring and guidance
- Implement and review care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and audits
- Liaise with external professionals, families, and management
- Promote a nurturing, structured, and trauma‐informed environment
- Safeguard children in line with policies, procedures, and legislation
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a children's residential care setting
- Proven experience supporting children with complex needs and challenging behaviour
- Experience acting as a shift lead or senior on duty
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and care planning
- Confident working within Ofsted regulations and quality standards
