An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s home in Gloucester. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the children’s home, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with Ofsted regulations
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of care staff to deliver person-centred support
  • Play an active role in recruitment, referrals, and placement decisions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders

Requirements
  • Previous registration with Ofsted
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience in children’s residential services within the last 5 years
  • At least 2 years supervising and managing staff
  • Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and relationship-building skills
  • Calm, reflective, and resilient approach to leadership
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Genuine passion for helping children achieve better futures
