The successful candidate will be responsible for launching and overseeing this specialised service, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and person-centred environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Launch: Oversee the comprehensive setup and operational initiation of this children\’s residential service in the region.
  • Deliver Tailored Care: Develop and implement specialised care plans that address the individual needs of the young person, ensuring adherence to all safeguarding regulations.
  • Build an Expert Team: Recruit, lead, and develop a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional, child-centric support.
  • Operational Management: Manage day-to-day operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and coordinating referrals to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety: Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and uphold the highest standards of safety, safeguarding, and therapeutic support.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a children\’s residential care setting.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
