We are seeking reliable and patient Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools across the Carmarthen region. This role offers flexible supply options, including temporary, long-term, and permanent positions, with competitive daily rates paid weekly via PAYE.

In this role, you will work in inclusive educational settings, including ALN units, to support pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN). You will assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and provide 1:1 and small group support in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and wellbeing. Supporting pupils with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties, and complex physical or medical needs will be a vital part of your responsibilities.

Candidates with Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in childcare, education, or supporting teaching and learning are desirable. Previous experience working with children or young people in educational or care settings, especially in ALN units, is preferred. Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willingness to register is required, along with an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, which Vetro can assist with.
