Our client is seeking a compassionate and motivated Domestic Violence Advisor to join their team in Swansea. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals affected by domestic violence. As a Domestic Violence Advisor in Swansea, you will provide emotional and practical support to men, women, and children experiencing or at risk of harm from intimate partners, ex-partners, or family members. Your role will involve working directly with clients in their homes or supported accommodation, assessing risk levels, and developing safety plans to ensure their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional and practical support to clients in Swansea affected by domestic violence
- Conduct risk assessments and develop personalised safety plans for victims and their children
- Manage a diverse caseload of clients, ensuring timely and effective support
- Work collaboratively with other agencies to safeguard vulnerable individuals

Requirements

- Sound knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the floating support aspect of the role
