Our client, a leading specialist provider, is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Cardiff. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced teaching assistants to support classroom activities and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to ensure all children, including those with additional learning needs (ALN) and challenging behaviour, receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general classroom support to teachers and students
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support children with additional learning needs (ALN) and behavioural challenges
  • Help implement personalised learning plans and behaviour management strategies
  • Support the planning and delivery of learning activities

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in a school setting

  • Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
