Salary: £92.59 per day minimum

Employment Type: Flexible, Part-time, Full-time - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

Job Description

We are seeking two dedicated and committed Secondary SEN Teaching Assistants to join our successful team within the specialist resource base at a school in Cardiff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with pupils with emotional health and wellbeing needs, supporting their learning and development in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with emotional health and wellbeing needs within the classroom and resource base
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery to ensure inclusive learning experiences
  • Promoting positive behaviour and social skills among pupils
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress and behaviour to inform ongoing support strategies

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent
  • Experience working with pupils with special educational needs, particularly emotional health and wellbeing needs
  • Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
