Our client, a leading specialist provider, is seeking an experienced and dedicated PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Cardiff. This full-time, long-term role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a positive impact on learners in Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful PE Teacher will be expected to hit the ground running and become an integral part of the PE team from day one. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a classroom of learners in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Prepare classrooms and plan schemes of work where required
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Incorporate both classroom and lab-based activities to motivate students
  • Manage behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of PE teaching experience (exceptions for NQTs)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – support available
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
