As a Nursery Nurse in Cardiff, you will work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver high-quality early years education. Your responsibilities will include supporting daily routines, personal care, and classroom activities, as well as promoting positive behaviour and social-emotional development. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and happiness of children, creating a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the delivery of high-quality early years education in a nursery setting in Cardiff
- Collaborate with the Class Teacher to create an inclusive and stimulating environment
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care and classroom management
- Promote positive behaviour and support children’s social and emotional development
- Contribute to planning and organising engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Ensure children's safety and well-being are maintained at all times
- Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting in Cardiff
- Ability to provide personal care and support children’s individual needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of early years curriculum and safeguarding procedures
- Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
- Relevant qualification in early childhood education or childcare is preferred
