Salary: £173.00+ per day

Employment Type: Full-time, Long-term Contract (Monday to Friday)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading engaging lessons across KS3 (Years 7-9) and GCSE classes
  • Planning and preparing lessons and schemes of work where required
  • Delivering learning in line with the National Curriculum
  • Creating an inclusive learning environment and supporting positive pupil progress
  • Working in line with the school’s behaviour management policies within a secondary setting in Caerphilly County Borough

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas equivalent
  • Ideally 1+ year Humanities teaching experience (applications from NQTs welcome)
  • EWC registration (Education Workforce Council) or willingness to register (support available)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • References covering the last two years (with no gaps)
