Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Leading engaging lessons across KS3 (Years 7-9) and GCSE classes
- Planning and preparing lessons and schemes of work where required
- Delivering learning in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating an inclusive learning environment and supporting positive pupil progress
- Working in line with the school’s behaviour management policies within a secondary setting in Caerphilly County Borough
Requirements & Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas equivalent
- Ideally 1+ year Humanities teaching experience (applications from NQTs welcome)
- EWC registration (Education Workforce Council) or willingness to register (support available)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- References covering the last two years (with no gaps)
