We are currently recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to work in a secondary school in the Bridgend area. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and committed teacher who can inspire students and bring performing arts to life in the classroom. The Drama Teacher role involves delivering engaging and dynamic Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4, planning, preparing, and assessing pupils’ work in line with the national curriculum. The successful applicant will encourage creativity, confidence, and performance skills, and contribute to school productions and extracurricular activities, which is desirable. Maintaining strong classroom management and fostering positive learning environments are essential for this role.
The ideal candidate for the Drama Teacher position will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Drama in a secondary setting. An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, is also necessary.
